New York Times Bestseller: The Sequel

I don't have much to say, other than thank you SO MUCH. Readers make bestsellers, not authors. So thank you for reading.

SO FREAKING MUCH.

Also, I have to say, the book my book kicked off of the incredibly competitive list? The Star Wars Character Encyclopedia.

That's right--SUPERNATURALLY DEFEATED STAR WARS. WHO HAS THE FORCE NOW, HUH??

(Umm umm umm did I mention I love you all, because seriously, I love you all.) (Thank you.)

(Forever.)

(Thank you.)

(Now I need to learn how to do the lightning-shooting-from-my-hands force thing.)

Hello.

I used to be an active contender in the blogging world, which is, I'm remembering now, a warm and comforting place that is full of friends and happiness via screen.

Anyways, I was in the library today and thinking "wow, i have nothing else to read."

And randomly, I thought of you and your amusing blog. I typed in your name on the slick computer they have and voila! I checked out Paranormalcy.

I recognize it is mildly pathetic it took me this long to read, because I've heard awesome things about it. But anyways, I did read it.

OMG. It was just fantastic. You are one spectacular writer. And I definitely want Evie as my new BFF. And also Reth as my BF. :-)

Anyways, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your book (I read it in about 2.6 hours, btw, because I didn't want to put it down) and I figured you would see it faster via blog comment.

I am getting my hands on Supernaturally ASAP and am eagerly awaiting the third one...

And for the record, I live in a somewhat isolated Canadian town, but I shall do my best to spread the wonders of your novel around to all my literature-hungry friends.

And, oh, CONGRATS!

CONGRATS! I can't wait to read Supernaturally! ;D And with the lightening hands, you could totally like try and do the Supernaturally cover. Yeah. It would be awesome. ;p

The force is with you, Kiersten! Glad I have a copy of Supernaturally!

Don't feel bad @jckandy, I have yet to read it! *gasp* BUT, I am making my way thru my TBR pile a book at a time, so I'm sure I'll get to it. After all, Keirsten is LOL funny, and I know her books will reflect that awesome sense of humor that keeps me coming back!

Why don't you just use your pink, blinged-out taser?
(In my opinion, that's cooler than superpowers.)

Kate said...

Lyla, have you never seen Star Wars?! You poor deprived girl! I love those shows! (Probably more then is healthy actually, but you know, I don't eat a lot of junk food, so I guess it evens out, sorta. . .)
And that is completely amazing Kiersten! Although not entirely surprising considering how awesome and entertaining your stories are! :) Congrats! :)
Okay, and the word verification I had to type in was "dekisser" now, that is just hilarious! :)

Oh and I totally think you could rock the lightning-shooting-from-hands, but then Tasey might feel inferior, like you don't need her anymore or something. And don't like only the evil, fallen jedis have that awesome skill? You know, because the evil dudes always get the cool stuff, because that's just how this crazy messed up world works! :)

Congratulations! You have the FORCE!! :)

You rock! Hence, you deserve it. :)

Lines like "who has the force now, huh??" are EXACTLY why I don't miss a post on this blog (or one of your books). Also, I agreed with Hayden -- a pink, bedazzled taser totally beats the hand-lightning-shooting. Way more stylish.

Congrats on having another bestseller!
