Bine! Bine!

This is Romania:

This is Kiersten in Romania:

This is Kiersten's first book:

Guess which one of us is going to Romania next?

YAY! Corint Junior is my new, fabulous Romanian publisher. Hot Stuff and I went into every bookstore we saw while we were traveling there, and I remember thinking, "Oh, how amazing would it be if Paranormalcy sold Romanian rights so it could be here, too?" Aside from our incredible trip there last summer, my husband actually lived in Romania for two years and speaks the language fluently. It has a very special place in both our hearts, so selling rights there is a huge, HUGE thrill.

I think this means we'll have to go there again, though, don't you? The sacrifices authors make...

Du-te la România, arăta sprijinul acordat! Evie pentru totdeauna!

...not sure if that will translate well...but I gave it my best Google-assisted shot! :)

Romania is gorgeous (as is Slovenia. If all I had was Lake Bled and those custard slices for life, I'd die happy).

Congratulations!

Awesome! And what gorgeous pics. My brother was supposed to serve a mission there as well, but health issues got in the way. So cool that you got to go back and visit.

Did you see any vampires while you were there? When someone says Romania...I think Dracula. Weird, I know.

Finally, us Romo's get some attention! Okay, so I'm not IN Romania but I'm Romanian. Funny, I'm getting ready to do a vlog about what it's like growing up in America with Romanian culture. I'll give you a heads up ^_^ You might enjoy it!

Congratulations!!!

Unbelievable!! This is an awesome news. I am from Romania and I can't wait to read your books. I'm so happy and I so surprised that you've already been here, in Romania. Will you cam back some day, now that your books are going to be published here?? I would love to get my copy (well, the one I am going to buy) signed from you.

Could you tell me where are those photos taken? I really don't recognize the place.

Picture One: Biertan
Picture Two: Peles, in Sinaia
Picture Three: Poeinari, by Corte de Arges (remains of Vlad Tepes' mountain fortress)
Picture Four: Corte de Arges

(Please forgive any spelling errors, as I am not the Romanian speaker in my family!)

I have about three hundred other photos I could have posted. Romania is amazing.

Also, we will definitely come back some day! Just not sure when. It's quite a big trip to go to Romania : ) We didn't get to go to the eastern parts really at all, which was sad because my husband loves them (and Moldova). Most of our time was spent in the Transylvania areas.

Can't wait to see you again in Romania. I am from Moldova and I would be so happy to see you here some day. In Moldova are a lot of wonderful monasteries and each has her own story. I am so glad you like Romania and I can't wait to read your books.

Have you been to Bran Castle? I mean Dracula's Castle is amazing and has a lot of mystery even if the real story is a little bit different.

You lived in Romania? My good friends live in Romania and I live in Hungary. I used to live in Bulgaria.
But you give me hope, because apparently, you think how I think.
You are hilarious, by the way.
