Without Hot Stuff
I couldn't write love interests for the life of me because I'd know nothing about what real romance and relationships were.
So, this week is SUPERNATURALLY week, leading up to SOMETHING VERY AWESOME on FRIDAY with MORE CAPS TO COME.
But Supernaturally is the middle book in the trilogy. And we all know what middle books of trilogies do: They make things difficult. They unravel that pretty little bow that tied up the end of the first book. They take the relationship that was found in book one and really make the characters examine what they found and determine what about it is worth fighting for.
And they have unicorns.
Well, if they're my middle book in a trilogy, anyway. The way I see it, attraction is easy. It's instant. I knew the moment I saw Hot Stuff that I wanted to date him. But it wasn't until I actually did date him and got to know him that I knew I wanted him in my life, for my life. It's that middle book, literally and figuratively, that forges the identity of the relationship, that determines whether or not what you've created will become permanent, will alter the course of your story forever.
Attraction requires nothing. Love? It's a choice. (And, if I do say so myself, I couldn't have chosen better.) Supernaturally is, in a lot of ways, about those choices. Choosing who we'll be and how we'll handle challenges, and whether we'll let those hard times determine who we are, or if we'll let who we are determine how the hard times turn out.
So now I leave you with a glimpse into the love of my life and how he fills my life with love and all sorts of other mush. Starring ZOMBIES and cuttlefish:
The story of my life is a happy one indeed.

And yay for Kiersten not being a zombie. Let's hope Evie and Lend turn out as well as you and Hot Stuff.
Ha ha, those drawings are the bomb.com!
Perhaps Hot Stuff could give us a visual preview of Supernaturally? ;-)
Those are quite possibly the cutest cuttlefish I've ever seen. Awww, and the 'I love you b'c ur not a Zombie' one... Best valentine's ever.
Happy valentines day! :D
Hot stuff sounds awesome. Now you just need some chocolate and life would be complete.
You should put him to work on the cover of a book...
You are truly lucky to have such a great relationship to draw from. Happy Valentine's Day.
Okay. Now I'm even more excited to read Supernaturally. Also, those are awesome Valentine cards! Especially the zombie card. Has your husband thought about a career with Hallmark?

Husbands can be awesome!
How cute! I wish my hubby did that for me. These guys need to get together so some of your husband's creativity will rub off =-).
Unicorns!?!? I may have to buy the book just for that. Can't wait to read your books. I'm sure you can beat the middle book drama.
Awww, those cards are wonderful! I especially love the last one. Super clever!
Ha! Love those cards!
And I sure hope Friday's awesomeness is cover art related :)
Ok, I would never have guessed that's what cuttlefish look like. Who knew?? I guess Hot stuff did.
