Crisis Intervention

Two writers. Between them they have the sanity equal to at least one small child. Well, one very small child. Okay, maybe a large puppy. Come along for the ride?

Episode One: Crisis Intervention, or, Why You Need Writer Friends.

Script and Film Editing: Natalie Whipple
Excessive Eyebrow Acrobatics: Kiersten White

Yes, you never, ever want to be one of my critique partners. I am SCARY.

Can I just say that I LOVE how Youtube decide to pick your glare for the freeze frame? Because I LOVE it.

As I said on Natalie's blog, my favorite part was your spooky opened-on-it's-own fridge. ;)

Hilarious!!! Loved every minute of it! Oh and... who's the ghost in your fridge?? :D

I love this! I've only recently discovered both of your blogs, but I'm so glad I did. You and Natalie both have such helpful, applicable posts (or, well, um...fun posts, like today) that are infused with so much personality. Since I'm a Wordpress girl, I Twitter-friended you both so I'd be able to see when you post new stuff. Just wanted to say hi, and thanks, for taking the time to blog.

It's true. My fridge is haunted by the spirits of food far past-date.

Thank you for making me laugh today! :D

Oh man, I don't know how dull my life would be if I'd never found either of you, but I'm so glad I did. You're both hilarious and made of awesome. :D

I love the fridge opening in the background. As I watched, my fridge mysteriously opened as well, with plaintive cries of "juice in my cup!"

It's so fun to see people having a good time with writing. I love that writers don't have to be brooding, brandy in my coffee types. Cause really, brandy and I don't get along that well. She's kind of bitter about my talent.

....your glare is actually scarier than my mother's. I'm so glad you've reassured me that angry Kiersten still likes me. :)

Awesome video--you guys should totally do it again! LOL

Awesome video! It put a smile on my face today when I really needed one. You and Natalie definitely need to do one again :)

Hi :)
Thank you Kiersten & Natalie :)
I loved the backwards robe. The opening fridge & the plaintive "Moooom!" cry. I didn't know Kiersten sounds like Holly Hunter, tres cool!
Very fun!
Thank you again,

Your eyebrows are extremely talented, Kiersten. I'm impressed!

This is just brilliant, brilliant. :)

The Mommy Glare(TM) at 2:01ish was CLASSIC.

I felt the chill all the way up here near Seattle. That you can summon it scares me. It scares me a lot.

I love the wailing fridge.

Great video, ladies!

LOL So funny. I'm extremely jealous of the one eyebrow raise. I've always wanted to do that. And the magic fridge behind you added much drama. And Natalie, you own a purple robe. That's awesome. Oh and love the shirt, Nat. :)

You girls are adorable! I loved the raised eyebrow.

That's hilarious. I finally got to see Natalie "in person." I tried to vlog this week and realized just how wierd it feels to talk to a webcam, so now I am much more impressed with you.

There are people who believe the moon landings were a mock-up.

Those same people will believe you and Natalie are in the same room and only pretending.

Stopping in from Natalie's blog... you were so adorable on the vlog that I had to check out your writing. :)

I'm sure you've been bathed in compliments all day, but your voice really is very pleasing to the ear.

Amusing and adorable.

My fave was the refrigerator opening repeatedly. :)

I'm so glad my haunted fridge was a hit. It wasn't even planned. Shockingly enough...

Amber--Thank you! I was a little worried that everyone would be terrified of me...I'm not really THAT mean to Natalie.

Well, okay, when she threatens to quit I am. But it's *nice* mean.

I was waiting for you to snap at the fridge-opener. "GET OUT OF THE FRIDGE YOU LITTLE BANDIT!"

Although whoever opened it probably wouldn't have known you were acting. I guess it's better you didn't do that :-)

I loved your reaction at the end.
