It's a Good Thing My Mom's a Therapist

Five-year-old Nayna, while reading a Winnie the Pooh book to her uncle:

"Christopher Robin isn't in this book at all." Thoughtful pause. "I think he's hurt or dead."

I'm sorry, but that's funny.

That is hilarious. But as a parent I am sure your torn between wanting to laugh (after admiring how brilliant your child is) or rushing to reassure her that Christopher Robin sometimes has other things he must do besides hangin' with Pooh all day.

I would have done both.

Now I am torn between what to blog on today! Great story about my son or something serious? Too many choices! Have I said how much I love your blog?

Nayna is incredibly perceptive. She's got a future as an actress or, God forbid, a writer...!

Being the one she was reading to, I laughed so hard I was crying. She then said, "This is a really funny book, huh?"
