Don't you just hate that? You come to the table to eat and find supper consists of cabbage or, yuck, split pea soup. I remember as a young person coming in and seeing that stuff on the stove and immediately going to bed crying and hungry.
As an adult, I don't allow those things to come into my home.
I have to admit, I usually don't like cabbage, except when cooked Chinese-style (fried up with garlic and oil). Yum! It makes a great side dish with rice.
Cabbage rolls, however? On my list of top ten worst dinners ever. Don't tell my mom I said that. :)
Oh, goodness, Lotus! When I first read that I thought you were giving me advice on how to prepare it! Cut the cabbage into fine chunks; stew until soft. Then, drizzle chocolate. Serve over ice cream.

Awe :) Most men don't remember stuff like that. So precise, he is.
Well, that leaves more for me. I'm not overly fond of milk. You can have mine.
Did you ever eat cabbage while nursing a baby? Poor, poor baby.
That's too bad! I looove cabbage. :)
Sorry if this was a bad experience for you. He needs to get you some ice cream. :)
Maybe next time he'll buy you a pair of jeans made out of real denim...

Lady Glamis is right: you need some ice cream.
Really? I'm kind of like that. Except that I don't like things that begin with cabba and end in ge!
I fall into the love cabbage camp as well.
To the cabbage lovers: I'm pretty sure something is seriously wrong with you.
Whirl: HA!
Bevie: That's the great thing about being the mom--I always like the food, because I'm in charge of it ; )
Carrie: How weird! We're practically twins!
Cut the cabbage and add chocolate. Ice cream and chocolate.
